Our Story
Northshore Church began as a dream to establish a healthy, vibrant, alive church in the ever-expanding northern coastal suburbs of Perth. Mindarie was identified early on as an ideal place to plant into and so the groundwork began to make this dream reality began.
Starting as a midweek home meeting, Northshore Church was planted by Patrick Humberstone, in his role as Church planter for the AOG in WA, and a small team from NorthWay Christian Centre, in early 2004.
In mid-2004 Northshore Church met for the first time publicly in Mindarie Senior College. The new plant initially met on a Friday night and then at the beginning of 2006 the main worship gathering moved to a Sunday night.
In mid 2005 Bruce Chant was appointed as pastor of the young church and remains in that role today seeing NORTHSHORE grow and develop into it’s call to be the light to our community.
NORTHSHORE is an autonomous local church affiliated with the Australian Christian Churches.
